Book A Private Tour

We offer private preserve tours by appointment only. Tours last about an hour and a half and you get to see all the animals. We are not open to the public, you must book a tour! Our preserve tour is private so it’s just you and your group! This also means everyone pays the same price including children and we don't have any age restrictions. There is no maximum to the amount of people in your tour. Animals are unpredictable and no encounter is guaranteed. If an animal is sick, injured, or has a baby we may have to skip that portion of the experience.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I hold a sloth?

Our sloths choose to participate in our encounters and decide if they are going to get up and hang out to see you. So they will be on a perch, hanging face to face with you where you can pet them, feed them and get that very important selfie, or slothie. They seem to enjoy hanging out next to you but they prefer not to hang on strangers. This experience is hands on and close up but very safe and a positive interaction for you and our sloth family.

  • When do you do tours?

Amazing Animals Inc. is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We offer private tours by appoitment only at 10AM, 12PM and 2PM daily. Contact us to book a tour, we can't wait to meet you!

  • Do you have handicap access?

Our tour path is well manicured grass which allows for easy mobility for chairs and strollers. Our new sloth exhibit is ADA compliant. Some areas may not be accessible depending on how much rain and mud exists.

  • What should I wear?

We are an outdoor facility that was built, first and foremost, with the care and well-being of our animal residents in mind. We have an unpaved, grassy tour path that is about 1/4 of a mile, and you may be walking in muddy areas. Open-toed shoes or heels are not recommended. Please check the weather before your visit, and dress appropriately for the temperature.

  • Can we take pictures or video?

Yes. We encourage you to bring your camera and take all the photos and video you want. Don't forget to tag us!

  • Will I get to touch an animal?

Yes our tours include hands on encounters with a reptile, a small mammal, barn yard critters, tortoises, capybara, and sloth!

  • Can I walk around on my own?

Amazing Animals Inc. was created, first and foremost, to meet the needs of the residents. You will see wild animals up close. That means we always require guides to ensure the safety of our residents and our guests. Also, our tours are fun! You will learn a lot from your guide, who has been specially trained to lead this tour so they can tell you great stories and answer all kinds of questions.

We periodically offer what we call “walkabout events” that allow you to wander our facility and talk to docents stationed throughout the park to ensure safety and answer questions. The best way to learn about these events is to subscribe to our e-newsletter or “like” us on Facebook. We offer a variety of ways to learn about and enjoy the unique personalities of our residents.

  • What do you do for bad weather?

We do our tours rain or shine. Several areas are under cover and safe from storms. However, in the event of dangerous weather like a hurricane, we will do our best to determine whether tours will be cancelled 24 hours prior to the start time.  We do not cancel tours for normal thunderstorms.

  • What if I miss my tour?

Once booked, tour deposits are non-refundable.

  • Do you have public restrooms?

We do not have public restrooms. Please plan on going before you arrive.

  • Do you offer discounts or raffle tickets?

Amazing Animals Inc. is a nonprofit organization. In order to provide high-quality care for our residents, we depend on every dollar we earn through our award-winning tours and programs. We appreciate your understanding that we are therefore unable to provide free tour tickets.
